Welcome to my GitHub web page. My name is Michael Rice. I am a results driven software developer currently working in R&D for Rackspace Private Cloud OpenStack.
I specialize in Virtualization automation and integration using Python, Java, and Groovy along with the Grails framework. I have over 10 years of experience with Systems Integration and Systems Automation. I have been working with the VMWare vSphere APIs using vijava for about 7 years. I am a Fedora package maintainer and have extensive experience building and maintaining RPMs. I am comfortable working with Groovy, Grails, Python, PERL, PHP, JAVA, and BASH scripting.
